It’s the second Friday of the month, which means it’s time to link up with Kristin from Taz and Belly for Little letters, where we write little letters to people, places or things.
Dear Weather,
Can we be more enjoyable soon? Between being crazy humid or pouring rain (mama did not appreciate loading groceries into the car in a torrential downpour) it has made it very difficult to get outside. I mean you have been great for our garden, mama’s sanity? Not so much.
Dear Matt,
You amaze me with what you are able to do. I love my new sewing table that you fixed up from the desk I trash picked. The old desk was warped from the rain it was sitting in, and not particularly pretty. Now it looks completely new and amazing. and I can’t wait to organize all my sewing stuff, and start sewing again!
Dear FaceTime,
You are a very nifty tool. It was so nice to talk to my BFF yesterday. So nice. Even though we haven’t talked in far, far, far, too long, it was like we just chatted yesterday. I love that I could see her face, and her kids, so thanks!
Dear Hair,
Soon. A change is coming soon. I know it’s been almost a year since I last did anything, but I’m hoping it was worth the wait.
Dear Abbey and Stacy,
Thank you for indulging me in my need for some good sangria. Even though it killed me a little to head into enemy territory, I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else! Being able to sit and talk with you kid free was much, much, needed. And needs to happen more often. I’m so glad our friendship has lasted so long!
Dear Sewing Machine,
Now that you have a new home, I want to use you more! I’m sorry I’ve been neglecting you a little. I can’t wait to sit down and sew some dresses for the girls (or finish all the projects I’ve started). Soon, friend, soon!
Dear Mom and Dad,
Thank you for watching the girls so much lately! Between taking them overnight (sleeping in till 9 then go for a run was amazing), watching them so I could take the cats to the vet, or so I could spend time with friends, it is soooo appreciated. I don’t know what I’d do without you so close.
