Oh man.
Guys… I didn’t even want to write this post! September majorly kicked my butt. I started off strong, but then between prepping for Autumn’s birthday and everyone in the house getting a cold, I fizzled out.
Also, I don’t think I’ve re-looked at my September goals since writing them.
#Fail
So, lets look at a recap of September:
Blog
-Blog 4 times a week: well I started off strong, even had one week that I posted 5 times! But it seems my average is closer to 3.
-Grow Instagram to 900 (currently it’s 685): I was so close! It’s now at 839.
-Start utilizing Pinterest/grow a following: Another nope.
-Tag/ Categorize old posts (particularly those that go with my sidebar categories): Yes! I did actually do this! I didn’t get all of them categorized, but I started!
-Get ahead in my posts: Bwahahaha…. nope.
So yeah…. not exactly my strongest month on the blogging front. But like I said, the last two weeks of the month I was kinda crazy, so I’ll cut myself some slack.
Etsy
-Continue adding Halloween items that are ready to ship: I totally did this! Go, check my Etsy store out! 🙂
-Start thinking/prepping for Thanksgiving and Christmas: Well, I have been thinking about it. I kinda of know what I want to do, so now to do it.
-Seek out a shop to do a giveaway on Instagram: I know who I want to ask, just haven’t gotten around to doing it.
Personal
-Continue working out: With the expection of when I was sick, I’ve been pretty good
-Start using MyFitnessPal again to record what I have eaten: nope…. and I think I’m going to give up on this one.
-Plan and do “lessons” with Annabelle (I tried this last year, but with a new baby it fell to the wayside): While I haven’t been doing as many as I’d like, I’ve been trying to do a few things a week.
-Send recipes to Taste of Home: I sent my Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake. Didn’t hear anything back, but I did send it in.
-Have a date night
-Host a Moms Night “in”: I hosted a wine night, where everyone brought two bottles of wine. One to share, and one to give away. I sadly did not win the wine.
*The picture are not the best since by the time I had everything set up, everyone was arriving. But I also set out a bunch of different cheeses, breads and chocolate.
So, not an awful month, but could have been much, much, better.
Now, onto October!
