How is it already Sunday Tuesday (seriously. I sat down to write this on Sunday, but obviously that didn’t happen)?!
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been really trying to stay on top of my game, but it has gotten away from me. I’m looking at my calendar, with all the posts I wanted to do… and well #fail. Here’s hoping I can be more on top of it at the end of May, but no promises. I’m trying super hard not to get down on myself with my lack of posts. As much as I’d love to post 4-5 times a week, it’s just not happening (clearly). I hoping if I set aside 2 nights a week to concentrate on my blog, I will be able to stay on top of it more.
At any rate, I have been working on things, just not blog related.
As I have mentioned before I am also working on getting my Etsy store stocked up. After making a test dress (with cheap material I had laying around) I made Annabelle a Memorial Day/Fourth of July dress. If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ve already seen it, but here it is.
She was being so sassy. I loved it! I also loved how the dress turned out. It’s a knot dress, so no worry about buttons falling off, plus it makes it slightly adjustable.
This “Superman” pose just cracks me up. Some days when I try to get her to model for my Etsy store, it’s just no good. This time, I got some great shots. 🙂
If you like the dress, it’s in my Etsy store now! As an awesome blog reader you can use code JOY10 to get 10% off your order (which can be applied to anything).

I also made Autumn a bubble skirt, but still have to get some pics of her in it, so it’s not on Etsy yet. I’m hoping to get to JoAnn Fabric’s so I can buy some more fabric and make some ready to ship bubble skirts.
I am hoping to get some cute pics of the girls in their outfits tomorrow. Hopefully the weather will cooperate so we can do it outside. Outside pictures are always so nice.
Speaking of my Etsy store, guess what?! I am part of a raffel over at Mums Orchard House
Check out all the awesome goodies she is giving away! The hat is from Althready Sew Sweet. Want a chance to win the whole enchalada? Enter here via Rafflecopter.
So, that’s what I have been up to lately. My next goal? Get my next photo lesson up before the end of May.
