So, today’s Five on Friday I’m joining up with the ladies who host Kids Behind the Blog. I tried to ask Annabelle last month’s questions, but she just said no to each question. I’m super happy she cooperated this time. 🙂
What do you like to do with Mom and Dad?
Play markers with mommy.
Baba (this is what she calls herself) like to play pom-poms with Dada.
Name one thing you are really good at.
Painting
She loves to paint. And by paint, I mean paint her hands, spread it on the paper for a few minutes, and then tell me “all done”.
What is one thing that Mommy and Daddy tell you often?
Ok folks, this one is great…
The first thing she says, without hesitation when I ask what does Mommy tell you often is “no”. #fail #worstmomever
I decided to ask a little more about my no saying, and this is what I got:
“Mommy says No Nutella. Dada says yes Nutella.”
**Full disclosure. Annabelle asks for Nutella and toast pretty much everyday. I mean, its understandable since Nutella is amazing. I tell her no often, since well Nutella is a treat (despite that one commercial where the mom is like “I get my kids to eat heathly by putting Nutella on whole wheat toast”. Pretty sure the Nutella negates the toast).
One day I told her no, she couldn’t have Nutella and toast, then left for a quick minute. When I came back, Matt was getting her Nutella and toast. She told us “Momma said noooo Nutella, Dada said yes”. Matt had no idea that I had told her no.**
She already know how to work the system….
What do you want to be able to do when you get older?
Play markers.
Not really sure about this one, since we play markers right now. Maybe she means without my help?
What do you think Mommy and Daddy do after you go to bed?
Watch funny guys.
She actually asks us this each time she goes to bed. “Momma, Dadda watch funny guys?”
One night we told her we were going to watch “funny guys” and it just stuck.
