This weekend was super busy, filled with friends, family and football (that’s the kind of busy I like)!
On Saturday Matt had to go into work (boo). Annabelle and I headed over to my parent’s neighbor’s for their annual pumpkin carving party. I have been going to this party since I was 12 years old (which is when they moved in). I baby sat their children and watched them grow. I still can’t believe they are old enough to drink (nor can the parents believe I have a child of my own)!
Thankfully my mom watched Annabelle while I carved my pumpkin (and had some yummy beverages).
We both were very excited for a spartan win as well. 🙂
I brought a very yummy desert to the party.
Really, these four ingredients make one of the yummiest desserts ever!
As much as I wish I came up with this myself, I did not. It was a recipe that my mom found in the newspaper years and years ago.
Step One:
Melt chocolate and 3/4 cup peanut butter.
Step Two:
Add powdered sugar to chocolate mixture and stir.
Step Three:
Mix one cup of chocolate mixture into rice cereal.
Step Four:
Shape cereal into a circle with a slightly raised edge.
Step Five:
Pour the rest of the chocolate mixture onto the cereal. Make concentric circles with 1/4 peanut butter.
Step Six:
Drag toothpick through the circles, starting in the center and going out.
Step Seven:
Put in the fridge for for at least 30 minute to firm up. Take out and put a fake spider on it.
