Can you believe it is already the middle of January?! It totally seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Christmas. I’m trying to get a head start on some Valentine decorations, and wanted to share a simple handprint craft with you today (inspired by Pinterest and Courtney over at Sweet Turtle Soup).
Seriously, this craft is super easy. Plus it works well for a Mother’s Day craft as well!
Purchase a canvas (here’s a similar one from Amazon), paint, and some paint brushes from your local craft store. I went with red and white to create the ombre effect. You could also use pink, or even purple and white.
Paint the canvas using an ombre effect (head over to Courtney’s blog. She gives some more detail on how to do it). Let it dry overnight.
Figure out where you want your hand and footprints, and do them. I used Annabelle’s hand print and Autumn’s foot prints.
Add the letters L and E and display.
Seriously easy, right?! Be sure to check back next week when I post some more fun Valentine’s day crafts.
