Linking up with Darci at [the good life blog]
for her 2nd annual blog hop. I know I’ve already shown some pictures of
Annabelle’s candy free Easter basket in previous posts, but wanted to share them
again for the blog hop. I’ll try to include some cute pictures of
Annabelle too.
I had a lot of fun putting together Annabelle’s Easter basket (even though she has no idea what Easter is). I didn’t want to include any candy in her basket since she doesn’t eat candy yet. In fact, she doesn’t seem to be a huge fan of sweets in general. She barely ate her smash cake, and has spit out chocolate pudding and cookies. Any candy in her basket would have been eaten by me.
So, what’s in the basket?
1. Books. Annabelle love reading, and I am tiring of the same books over and over. I think she will really like Where Are Baby’s Easter Eggs. It is a lift the flap book, and she has two other by the same author. I also bought Happy Easter Mouse.
2. Bubbles. Bubbles are so much fun, and hopefully we will be able to go outside to use them after Easter! You never can tell in Michigan. We went through all four seasons in a day a few days ago. It started off at 71 degrees in the morning and by 11pm it was snowing. True story. We had the snowiest winter on record in Detroit. As much as I love the snow, I am ready for it to be done.
3. Bunny ears for the Target dollar spot. Annabelle looks so cute in them!
4. Bath toy. Annabelle likes splashing around in the bath, so I thought a new toy would be fun.
5. Sippy cup. We currently only have one sippy cup, and this one was just too cute to pass up.
6. Not pictured by itself, but I also bought her a dress from Kohls. It was only like 5 bucks since it was on the 60% off rack. 🙂
Here are some pictures from the egg hunt we went on. Annabelle found two eggs and was fascinated with them. 🙂
