I don’t know about you, but when my house is clean I feel less stressed. Keeping the house clean however is a pretty big task. Before having Annabelle I used to do all the cleaning on the weekend. Once I had Annabelle it took me a while to realize that doing all the chores together was no longer an option.
So I split them up. Some chores (such as cleaning the dishes from dinner, or scooping the kitty litter) had to be done daily, while others weekly, and some could be done monthly. Doing the chores like this makes it a little less daunting and easier to keep things clean and organized (there are days that everything doesn’t get done, but I try not to let it stress me out).
Here is the chore schedule I follow. If you would like to have a copy of it, just click here.
Most of the stuff on the list is pretty self explanatory. Each night after dinner I clean any pots or pans I have used by hand and then put them on a drying rack (this is what I meant by clean dishes by hand if needed). I then put them away the next morning. My monthly cleaning of the coffee maker consists of running vinegar water through it (I fill up the coffee pot to the 6-8 cup mark with vinegar, then fill the rest of it up to the 12 mark). After you “brew” the vinegar water run 2 pots of fresh water through the coffee maker to get rid of any lingering vinegar.
Hope this helps anyone trying to figure out how to do their chores!
