Once again this week felt like it flew by! There is always seems to be so much going on, and sometimes I can barely stop to take a breath! I’m hoping that once summer rolls around, I’ll be able to take a little bit of a breather (or at least not feel so scatter brained). Please tell me I’m not the only one! I want to tell people, I swear I used to have it more together! 😉
So let’s take a look at the week!
ONE: OUTSIDE TIME
At the beginning of the week the weather was pretty nice so we were able to spend some time outside. Even when it is just playing in our front yard, I like trying to get some quality time outside. I was also super excited to snag up some inflatable dice from Target. I’ve been wanting big dice for a while now, and this will work great!!
TWO: BBQ
This weekend we are hosting a Memorial Day BBQ. We hosted a party last year as well, and it was tons of fun! I have so many ideas of what I want to to do for tables capes, and snacks. I just hope that I actually remember to take pictures (since usually I get so caught up, I forget). I also updated my chalk art on my mini board.
Annabelle asked what it meant, and I had a hard time explaining in a way that made sense. How do you explain things like sacrificing your life for your country to a four year old?
THREE: FREE KEURIG
So, I kinda feel like I made it. The latest item I recived (for free for testing purposes) from Influenster was a Keurig! I was pretty surprised when I got the email saying I was in (since usually my items are not quite as exciting). The jury is still out on if I like how the coffee tastes, but I’ll be sure to fill you in!
FOUR: CAT LOVE
Matt’s been playing X-Box a bit this week, which leaves me more time to myself in the evenings. Some days I like to blog on the couch while watching TV. I finally got caught up on Dancing with the Stars, and ***spoiler*** was super disappointed when Simone was voted off. I thought she did fabulous and that the judges were extra hard on her in the scoring area.
At any rate, whenever I try to do things on the couch, I get a visitor.
FIVE: ON THE BLOG
It was a busy week on the blog, in case you missed it:
On Monday I shared weekend recap
I posted about our Diaper Bag Essentials for 18-24 month olds on Tuesday.
Roxana guest posted on Wednesday about Chocolate
I talked Water Safety on Thursday
Phew! That was a lot of posts! I hope that everyone has a great weekend!
