Can you believe that Father’s Day is coming up?! I totally meant to get this posted earlier in the month, but you know, life happens. Plus, if you are anything like me, then you may be thinking “oh crap! Father’s day is this Sunday!?”
Whats’s a mom to do?
I wanted to share with you a simple gift that is easy to to do (although if your husband is anything like mine, he’d like a day to himself to play video games or work in the basement/on a car/whatever crafty things men like to do).
So, let’s be honest. As moms we don’t have a ton of time on our hands, but with school out for the summer, don’t Dad’s deserve some fun crafty gifts too?
Cue this simple picture frame.
1. First off, get a pair of cute little baby feet.
**Please note, now that Autumn is almost 9 months old (wait what?! I swear I just brought her home from the hospital) she is a wiggle warm.
2. Paint those cute little feet (or use a stamp pad).
No picture… see number one.
3. Make a print of the feet in a heart shape.
I did two different prints.
A little tip. Try rotating the paper to get the correct angle. Way easier than trying to move wiggly babies foot.
4. Cut a heart shape around the cute little feet print.

*In the size 5 by 7 there is some white space around the top and bottom edge.
6. Glue your heart shaped feet onto the background and place in frame. I glued an offset heart onto my feet, to make them stand out a little. I also added my daughter’s name
You can place it in a 5 by 7 frame as is.
Or… print it on a 4 by 6 size, then frame it an place it in a frame.
Quick and easy. Hope you enjoy!
Check out this one I did for Matt’s first Father’s day. It was in my early years of blogging… so forgive me. 😉
