Another Friday is here! Yay! The weeks seem to be going by fast, but slow at the same time. Does that make sense?!
Linking up with September Farm and The Farmer’s Wife. Come join!
ONE:
I’m pretty excited about this. If you follow me on instagram, then you’ve seen this. I made myself a maternity gown for the hospital. Originally I was only going to make one for after I give birth, but the fabric was super cheap ($9 for 3 yards) so I decided I’d make one for when I am actually in labor as well.
The main reason I wanted to make one is because hospital gowns suck, and are not at all made to help you nurse a newborn. When I had Annabelle I brought PJ pants and a nursing tank top, but since I ended up with a c-section the pants were a no go. I ended up using the tank top, and trying to wear the gown as skirt. No. Good. This gown unsnaps at the shoulders and in the back, so it should work a whole lot better.
I hope to get a tutorial on the blog soon.

TWO:
I may have lost my mind. I have decided to do some “school” type activities with Annabelle. Nothing crazy, but I’ve come up with themes and am working on finding activities. My hope is that if I already have ideas to do with Annabelle when the new baby comes, then I can actually work with her a little. I’ll be explaining more about it on my blog next week.
I’ll be using Pintrest to keep everything organized. Follow me here.
THREE:
Today we went on a play date where we read Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus then did a project. Annabelle’s pigeon is very Picasso-ish.
FOUR:
This week we tried our free pasta and pasta sauce from Bzzagent. It was different than our normal Prego, but it was ok. I think I made it worse by adding ground turkey though.
FIVE:
I am looking for bloggers to guest post on my blog before and after our new baby joins us. My plan is to have your post go up on Tuesdays, so I would ask for your post, in HTML format on the Friday before.
If this is something you think you may be interested in, click here and fill out the form. You can blog about anything you’d like (as long as it’s family friendly ;)).
Have a good weekend everyone!
