This style extender and primer is said to help your hair hair stay fresh between washes. It helps lengthen that time by reducing friz and oil, all while smelling great.
Since I don’t wash my hair every day, I was ready to see if this stuff really worked. My hair is fine and thin, so by day two of no wash it is usually getting pretty greasy.
On Friday I took a shower, wash and conditioned my hair and applied a nickle size amount to my hands and rubbed in my hair, concentrating on my roots since they get the most oily. I then blew dry my hair for the best results (as stated on the directions).
First off, this stuff smells great! I really liked how fresh it smelled.
Second, after I finished blow drying my hair, it didn’t really feel like I had product in my hair, which I loved! My hair was still soft, and a bit less frizzy than it normally is.
Unfortunately I don’t really have a great picture of day one, it was a busy day of running around, finding out the gender of our baby, and helping set up for a Mom 2 Mom sale.
So I woke up day two, pleasantly surprised with how my hair looked. It still smelled nice, and wasn’t overwhelmingly oily. I threw my hair in a messy bun, then went to swim class with Annabelle. Then it was off to work at the Mom 2 Mom sale. When I got home I had Matt snap a picture of my hair.
Besides the touches of gray, it looks pretty great!
Day three was probably the last day I could get away without washing my roots. By this day my hair was best styled by being up in a pony tail or messy bun. After a day of doing some work around the house (with my hair up), I brushed my hair out a bit and had Matt snap a picture (with my phone, so it’s not the best quality). For day three of not washing my hair, I thought it still looked pretty good.
